A grey monkey in a red waistcoat sits staring at a bee which it holds in it's fingers. There are some white petals (?) on the floor around the monkey. Monkeys can often symbolise ensuring a good harvest and promoting fertility. signature and stamp lower right. Two impressions 'NCAM' in circles brc, one over the other. Mounted with NCM 1908-70
