Elie Wiesel

Interview with Elie Wiesel. Wiesel was born in Romania in 1928 in a Jewish family. Brought up in the hasidic tradition, he was still youg when he showed the aptitude for the study of sacred texts. His deportation in June 1944 encouraged him to write and to fight against forgetting the past and in favor of human rights.
