Liepaja's 300 years anniversary celebration.

In 1925, during the celebration of Liepāja’s 300 years anniversary, the first President of Latvia at that time Jānis Čakste visited Liepaja. He and others members of the Government took a part in the military parade. In commercial port was sailboat parade in honor of celebration. Now Liepaja is the 3rd largest city in Latvia and 10th largest one in the Baltic States.
