Cotton sleepsuit or housepants with diagonal stripes
Trousers like these were originally worn indoors by (Indo-)European gentlemen, later also by Chinese gentlemen, in the former Dutch East Indies. The motifs are floral, abstract and stitched in diagonal bands. These trousers are illustrated in van Hout, 2001:158.
