Lappets, Brussels bobbin lace, made ca.1740, Brussels. Pair of bobbin lace lappets with intact cap band. Formal design of flowers in pots in cartouches formed by twining bands, containing smaller flower pots. Very fine work. Straight edges, curved ends.  Bobbin lace worked in linen thread.
