A single looped copper alloy buckle dating from the Medieval period. It is a Meols type 6 buckle dating from the late 14th century. The loop is D shaped with an offset and recessed bar. The outer edge is expanded into a wide tab and decorated with three deep transverse grooves. The loop of the pin, wrapped around the bar survives. The buckle has a patchy light green patina.
