POST MEDIEVAL MUSKET BALL

A lead alloy musket ball of post-Medieval date, circa 1644. The casting spure has been trimmed with nippers on two different angles. There are areas that are marked with groups of ridges, perhaps from being gripped by pliers. The ball has a pale, yellowish-grey patina. It is 12.8mm in diameter and weighs 12.32gm.
