MESOLITHIC KNIFE
A flint tool; a backed knife probably dating from the Mesolithic period of about 8300 BC - 3500 BC. The knife is formed on a flake of creamy yellow opaque flint which has a few flecks of patination. There is abrupt retouch on the left side, the right distal side and round the pointed distal end.
