A cast copper alloy medieval key, with the bow missing. The shank is circular in section and hollow (a pipe key). The bit has a wide L shaped cleft in the leading edge, and a deep cleft in the outer edge near the following edge. There is a groove parallel to the shank, and three short wards on the outer edge near the leading edge. The breaks are worn, and the key has a mid green patina.
