MEDIEVAL JETTON

A copper alloy jetton from the late medieval or early post medieval period. The jetton has a diameter of 23.4mm and is 1.8mm thick. It weighs 3.1g. The edges are damaged, making the reverse legend illegible. The jetton was struck in Tournois under Louis XII or Francis I sometime between 1497 and 1521.
