POST MEDIEVAL TOBACCO HOLDER
A metal (probably lead alloy) tobacco jar and lid dating from AD 1700 - 1900. The jar is complete. It is in the form of a male head with a pronounced nose, and a flat topped, brimmed hat. The hat forms the lid and can be removed to reveal the hollow inside the head where the tobacco would have been kept.
