EARLY MEDIEVAL PIN

Early Medieval pin, cast copper alloy, probably from a triple pin set. The object consists of the pin's shank, now bent. This is parallel sides and shows no sign of swelling. The top of the pin expands into a curved sided, straight topped plate which appears to have have originally been bifurcated, one leaf is missing.
