ROMAN BROOCH

Roman (2nd Century) incomplete cast copper alloy lozengeform plate brooch. The original edges of the brooch are missing. The surviving area of the brooch is formed of four stepped lozenges, with incised lines for decoration. The central lozenge may have contained enamel.
