EARLY MEDIEVAL BROOCH

An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy small long brooch, dating AD 450-550. The object has a trefoil head plate and curved bow, which straightens out to form a rectangular foot. There are punched annulets running around the edge of the headplate and a ridge running down the centre of the bow which continues onto the foot.
