Fragment of a solid terracotta figurine, only the head survives. The right hand side of the head is damaged and possibly once supported a side lock, perhaps suggesting that the head represented a priest. The subject has strong cheeks and chin; the mouth is small with thick lips; the eyebrows are modelled and the eyes almond-shaped and slightly bulbous in appearance. The back of the head is thick and the neck is broad; no hair is indicated, supporting the idea that it represents a MEmphite priest of Ptah. Nile silt clay.
