Solid terracotta head categorised by Petrie as a Greek. There are traces of black paint on the head. The subject has wide eyes, the lids of which are moulded; a slightly hooked nose with flared nostrils and a straight mouth with thin lips. the hair or headdress is applied and very stylised with no indication of locks of hair. It sits high on the head and is extended at the back. the ears are not shaped and are longer than normal; these additions may represent earrings. Nile silt clay.
