Baby's Wraparound, 1926 (Ref:L.C712.1980.69.13)

Stay band in white cotton interlined with stiff card and wadding. It has stiff, button adjustable shoulder straps, which cross at the centre back. The use of card is unusual but is probably due to wartime shortages of other, more traditional, stiffening and supporting materials.
