Scutellum flabelliferum (Goldfuss 1839) [Bronteus flabellifer..] A ribbed pygidium identified as Scutellum. Preserved in black limestone which has shaley cleavage. An old label on the reverse indicates that it was collected in Gerolostein, Eifel, Germany, which would make it Middle Devonian.
