Queen Square, Wolverhampton

A large gathering of people and horse-drawn vehicles in Queen Square. The occasion is unknown. In the centre stands the statue of Prince Albert on horseback, erected to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoria in 1866. Behind (right) can be seen one of the entrances to St. Peter's Collegiate Church in Lich Gates.
