Construction of the new Pavilion at Derbyshire's County Cricket Ground

The old Pavilion on the left was built in 1911 as a grandstand for watching cricket and horse racing (it was demolished in 2002). The new pavilion is seen here during construction. It was opened on the 10 May 1982 and originally called The Cavendish Pavilion. It was later renamed The Lund Pavilion after the Benefactor Harry Lund.
