Irongate, Derby

Looking up Irongate from the Market Place, showing All Saints Cathedral at the end of the road. The cathedral was built as a minster church in c 924, with the tower added later in 1511-32. The church, the majority of which was rebuilt in 1723 by James Gibbs, became a cathedral in 1927. On the left of the street is a monument to Joseph Wright.
