Richard Howe, Ist Earl and Admiral of Langar, 1780s-90s

Richard Howe of Langar, 1st Earl Howe and First Lord of the Admiralty (March 8 1726 - August 5 1799). Earl Howe was famous in his day for commanding the fleet which relieved Gibraltar from a blockade of French and Spanish ships, superior in numbers to his convoy, during the Napoleonic wars.
