Market Place and (new) Assembly Rooms, Derby

The Assembly Rooms were opened in 1977. They replaced the old Assembly Rooms, built in 1763-4, which were gutted by fire in 1963. (The facade of the old Assembly Rooms is now housed at Crich Tramway Museum.)
