Deep snow drifts at High Moor, Killamarsh, during the harsh winter of 1947.

The photograph was taken during the severe winter of 1947 by H V Green (Senior) and shows his car in the snow. Exceptionally cold weather swept from Russia that year bringing snow and frost.
