St Martin's Church, Church Lane, Osmaston, 1911

St Martin's Church was built in 1845 by Stevens. Pevsner describes the church as being big and solid, faced in smallish rock-faced stones. The church replaced an earlier structure, legend has it made of wickerwork and dating back to the 600s but the church records date back to 1606. Stevens' church holds many tributes to the Wright Family, its principal benefactors.
