The King's Head Inn, Kings Head Court and Caunt's Cafe

Caunt's Cafe (an old cruck timber framed building) later became Bayliss' newsagents shop. On the right is Walker's pork butchers. There was a common lodging house at the end of Kings Head Court. The King's Head Inn was at least 300 years old and was formerly known as the Maiden's Head Inn. The King's Head Inn was demolished in 1973.
