Leeds Mission, St Peter's Medical Aid

1900, St Peter's Mission Chapel provided Medical aid to the poor, they were treated by Sister Alice, seen here with some of her patients. The clinic opened daily, people of all faiths and nationalities were seen. A Dr Wainman attended on Saturdays without charging fees. In one year 3029 people were treated at the clinic and 1,159 home visits were made. Many of the children have slings and bandages visible.
