Yenesei[sk, about 145 miles south of Krasnojarsk], Siberia, [USSR (Russia)] unknown A Lanfine label gives the following: "Meteoric iron. A fragment of the celebrated mass found in Siberia by Pallas at Yenesei. It weighed above 1600lbs. Along with metallic iron and other matter as seen in the analysis enclosed with it it contains a number of crystals of olivine. This specimen wieghs 3 ounces and 3 drams ... but Rose charged £5 for it.......Pallas's specimen was between Abacansh and Belskoy-astrog in Siberia. Now worth £8"
