CRE PAOLOZZI, Eduardo, Sir; (Scottish; 1924-2005) Exhibited as part of "Lost Magic Kingdoms" touring exhibition, 1988-89. Given by Paolozzi to Prof. Malcolm McLeod, who co-curated the original exhibition at the Museum of Mankind. Prof. McLeod gave this to the Hunterian in 2004. The mechanical cogs are part of a television set and according to Paolozzi, the tin hat represents a sort of coal miner.
