Some small black marks where writing has been in the past, now worn off. Fayum Egypt This flint arrowhead is orange-brown in colour, and is concave-shaped at the base.
Arrowheads like this would be made by chipping at a chunk of stone, a process known as "knapping", which requires great skill. On close inspection, the marks made by this process can be seen.
