Sketchbook of a tour in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire etc., p. 8: Holy-water stoup and chancel arch, St Michael, Buckland, Gloucestershire 1894

inscr. in pencil b.r. "BUCKLAND CHURCH" CRE MACKINTOSH, Charles Rennie; (Scottish; 1868-1928) Buckland church is mainly Perpendicular Gothic. The holy-water stoup with its ogee arch is just inside the north doorway. Mackintosh has not indicated in his drawing of its elevation and plan the unusual cut-away section on its west side. On the right of the drawing is the chancel arch and its mouldings.
