Quill Pen (nineteenth century)

ink stains on nib CRE UNKNOWN; The pen is part of the collection of James McNeill Whistler's artist's materials held in the Hunterian Art Gallery. The nib is cut from quill, inserted into a metal ferrule and attached to a wooden handle.
