penannular arm-ring terminal fragment

in white ink "Skaill, Sandwick, Orkney" Skaill, Sandwick, Orkney Scotland The Skaill hoard, found in 1858 in Orkney, contained 15lbs of silver comprising nine brooches, 14 necklets, 27 armlets and an assortment of ingots and silver fragments. There were also a number of Anglo-Saxon and Arabic coins. The original objects from this hoard are in the National Museums of Scotland in Edinburgh.
