*non loc.* unknown Nice specimen. Althought merely given as "Hunterian" in the museum catalogue, the curved style of hand polishing looks 18th century, and it may match Quartz No 28 in the Trustees catalogue of William Hunter's original bequest: "28. A Mass of cristal cut and polished with cavitites in the Shape of the Cristals of Asbestos".
