LINK-GEAR-CAM MECHANISM OF A ROTARY PISTON PUMP
Cylinder block 1 consists of six symmetrically arranged cbylinders a and rotates about fixed axis A. Reciprocating in the cylinders are pistons 2 which have rollers 3 that slide and roll along curvilinear profiled slot b in the housing. When cylinder block 1 rotates, pistons 2 reciprocate with respect to the cylinders which are used to pump a fluid (liquid or gas).
