Evaluation Report on Wallington County Grammar School
Six trenches were excavated across the site revealing turf and topsoil above a sandy drainage layer. Below the drainage layer was the old topsoil which overlayed the sub-soil. Below the subsoil in the three eastern trenches was a small ditch cut and the natural clay and upper Chalk.
