David Beaver, letter from the Front Line

A friend of my grandmother Ada Leaver received a letter from her friend, David Beaver, who wrote to her from the front line on 16 July 1915. He could hear the singing of the Germans. He mentions other music like ragtime, and the sinking of the Lusitania as well.
