Electrical sub-station building, Rotterdam

This electrical sub-station was built to supply electricity to shops and buildings in the centre of Rotterdam.

It is located at at the corner of Delftsevaart and Grotekerkplein. The oldest section of the building dates from 1925 (and survived the bombardment of Rotterdam during World War II). A second building was added in 1948. It is still used today (in 2019).
