Grevillea montis-cole R.V.Sm. subsp. brevistyla R.V.Sm.
Prostrate shrub ca. 2 m across; rooted in crevices between granite boulders & spreading over them. Flowers: style scarlet, stigma green, anther lobes shading from deep red to purple-black.
