Clarinet

This instrument was sold to Bandmaster Pearce in 1908. It was bought for Pupil Spanholtz, from the 1st Hampshire Regiment, who later became Bandmaster of 2/K.O.Y.L.I. (King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry), 1924-34. It is a clarinet made entirely of ebonite in four sections (barrel, upper joint, lower joint, and bell) with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork.
