Galoubet in D
Duct flute made of single piece of rosewood(?) with two fingerholes at the distal end, and one thumbhole in the back. It has a lighter wood block. The galoubet is of Provençal origin, and the name probably derives from an Old Provençal verb, "galaubar," meaning "to play magnificently."
