Transverse flute in E
Side-blown, boxwood flute made in four sections (head, upper and middle joints, and foot joint), with ivory cap and ferrules, and silver keywork. One straight flat, square cover key mounted on foot stock bulge, and flat spring attached to key. Round embouchure hole. Nominal pitch: D. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
