and Surrounding Districts, taken by Frederick Fiebig in 1851. This
is a view of Lord Auckland's monument (by Henry Weekes, 1847) in
the Eden Gardens, with Babu Ghat beyond. Lord Auckland had been
Governor-General of India from 1836 to 1842.
