FRAM - Histoire de René Alphonse Géhin

René Alphonse Géhin, grandfather of the contributor, was born on July 29, 1893 into a family of merchants in Cherménil in the commune of Cornimont in the Vosges where his parents run a bakery. Fighting on the western front, he wrote several letters to the armies, from 1915 to 1917, to his parents, Jérôme Hyacinthe Géhin and Marie Eugénie Bobenrieth.
