Cup with a handle and a foot
Gray/black pottery is characteristic of the Indo-European migration in Iran during the second millennium. The beak imitates the shape of a crane or stork. This type is often found in tombs, especially in NW-Iran and the Tehran region, including in Khurvin, Hasanlu and Tepe Siyalk. The surface is usually polished, thus creating a very shiny surface.
