Spouted bowl
Regional characteristics in pottery production were still present during the Achaemenid period. The shape of this bowl is closely related to the typical pottery of the Iron Age, e.g. the pottery from Tepe Siyalk (Central Iran). The geometric decoration, however, clearly indicates that the pieces were made in the Gilan region. Identical pottery has been found in Tomadjan and Mianroud.
