Hammer, mosaic
This is a mosaic hammer, used by a stonemason to cut cubes of marble. It is missing its handle. The hammer is one of a collection of stonemasonry tools given to the Museum by Mr Ben Hingston, a London stonemason who stopped working in the practical side of the trade in 1958.
