Bartholomew Deasy
The man standing is Bartholomew Deasy. He came from Cork City, Ireland. He joined the British Army and was in the regiment of the Munster Fusiliers. He served in France for about four years. In this picture, he is standing at the grave of his brother-in-law whose name is Joseph O'Donnell. Joseph was killed in France in June 1916, aged about 20.
