Newsome National School Interior view of the main schoolroom. This room could be divided into two by a wooden partition with glass windows, which folded along a track and was secured by bolts.
Images km04659, km04660 and km04661 appeared in the centenary booklet, published in 1937 to celebrate the centenary of Newsome Church School. See also a short history of the school, published in the Journal of the Huddersfield and District Family History Society (Volume 20, Number 3, April 2007).
