The Fleece Inn
The building on the left (three stories high) was formerly occupied by I. H. Clarke, Surgeon, from whom it was purchased in 1874. It formed part of a lease granted in 1784 to John Studson. It was pulled down in 1900 to make way for additions to the Fleece Inn. The doorway next to Leefs shop was a window in 1846.
